Macros must be enabled in order for the Narrative1 application to run.

Office 2000 & 2003: 

1. Click Tools
2. Macros
3. Security and select Medium or Low. Low is very safe if you have anti-virus software.

Office 2007: 

1. Click the Microsoft Office Button 
2. Click Word/Excel Options
3. Click Trust Center, click Trust Center Settings
4. Click Macro Settings and select Medium or Low. Low is very safe if you have anti-virus software.
5. Click ActiveX Settings and enable all controls
   

Office 2010/13/365: 

1. Click the File tab
   
2. Click Word/Excel Options
3. Click Trust Center, click Trust Center Settings
4. Click Macro Settings and select Medium or Low. Low is very safe if you have anti-virus software.
5. Click ActiveX Settings and enable all controls
